Mesogeios Dialysis Centres were established for the sole purpose of meeting the needs of dialysis patients and providing standards that satisfy their expectations. Their vision is to create a model medical unit that will increase the patient’s quality of life.
After long preparation, Mesogeios began to construct a network of high quality dialysis units throughout Greece, starting in the island of Crete. Mesogeios now offers a network of six modern, purpose-built dialysis centres:
Heraklio, Crete, with 30 Fresenius Medical Care machines. This centre is located not far from Knossos and is particularly popular with tourists and visitors to Crete. It handles international patient enquiries for the whole Mesogeios network.
Serres in Northern Greece with 20 Fresenius Medical Care machines, and sweeping views over the surrounding countryside.
Chalkida, Evia with 25 Fresenius Medical Care Machines 4008S. This centre is ideally placed for dialysis patients in the regions Evia, Thiva and Livadia
Pallini, Attiki with 25 Fresenius Medical Care machines. This centre in Eastern Attika, NE of Athens, is also popular with tourists.
Palaio Faliro, Attiki with 25 Fresenius Medical Care Machines 5008. This centre just 200m from Sygrou Avenue serves patients in the Southern Athens region. It is also well situated to serve business visitors to Athens and Piraeus.
Kalamata, Messinia in the Southern Peleponese with 17 Fresenius Medical Care machines
The new, state-of-the-art 5008S machines by Fresenius Medical Care perform on-line haemodiafiltration for all dialysis patients.
