The Buenos Aires German Hospital opened in 1867 and the Board of Directors is still composed of leading members of the German community. The Hospital has 240 beds in individual rooms, 11 operating theatres, a coronary unit, adult and pediatric intensive care units, burn care and transplant areas.

Hospital Britanico (British Hospital)
The Buenos Aires British Hospital, founded in 1844, is a non-profit organization providing medical and hospital services of the highest quality within strict ethical codes, and with a firm commitment to society. The hospital welcomes international patients, operates five further medical centres in Buenos Aires and offers a liaison service for patients in the Argentine provinces.
CEMIC was founded in 1958 as a private non-profit associatio founded by Dr. Norberto Quirno and a group of disciples and friends and today operates two university hospitals and seven medical centres in Buenos Aires. Teaching remains an important function and it offers a wide range of diagnostic modalities and treatments including kidney and pancreas transplants.
